Third Trimester!

March 24th started my third trimester! I can't believe how much she is moving now! It's crazy! Cody and I watch her move allll the time! I am pretty sure I will iss this when she is born lol. Yes...I'm a bit crazy! haha :) So let's get caught up...

I ended with Week 24 and I am now in Week 29...

Week 25...My mom came up on March 7th and spent the 7th-11th up here! We went on a hunt for a baby bed! We went to Bye Bye Baby and Baby Depot!. We found the bed at Baby Depot! I kept saying I didn't want a white bed, but this seemed to be the most sturdy bed and one that doesn't scratch easily. It's soooo pretty too! That is definitely a plus! It looks beautiful with her bedding too. I just love it! :) I also got her a bright pink polka dotted basket for her shelves! So cute :) Oh and some little hair clips  of course :) Bye Bye Baby is like the Bed, Bath, and Beyond of baby stuff! It was a very cool store! I also found her diaper bag at Sam Moon!!! Finally! Picture coming later! We got to see my brother a bunch too, which as nice! :) I took my mom to a bead store for her birthday as well! She loved that! )

Week 26...On the 11th my mom and I drove to Lumberton! We brought the dogs and She-Ra got car sick...It was pretty awful. I felt so bad for her! She was so sick! We had to stop and buy Dramamine at a gas station and drug her so she would sleep the rest of the way. It was so sad. My mom dropped me off at Crissy's house and helped me decorate for her surprise! It was her 30th bday and Lyndi and I decided to surprise her! She was shocked! It was such a good surprise! We then took her to Houston to the Woodlands mall for the day! We had cheesecake and shopped till we dropped!

 Week 27...I stayed in Lumberton until the 21st. I hung out with my parents, spent all day Wednesday at my mom's church in her library, had lunch with Maggie and Monica, and had a dinner date at Applebee's with Crissy with, of course, our target trip afterwards! :) She-Ra also went into heat on Monday. So I spent the entire week with her in doggy diapers! That was fun...um...not! BUT I can now say she is almost house trained! WooHoo! :) We are still waiting for her to finish so we can get her fixed! On the 21st my mom and I made the long car trip back. She-Ra got sick again, even after the Dramamine. My mom stayed with us until the 23rd and helped me put the letters over Sophie's bed and helped me get situated back home. I have missed her since she has been gone, but have kept plenty busy trying to keep the dogs house trained! The 22nd I had my glucose testing Dr. appointment with Ellen Parrill. She said no news was good news and I never heard from them, so it looks like I passed! No gestational diabetes for me! Yay! :) My mom went with me and got to hear lil Sophie's heartbeat! She loved that! :) I also got a Rhogam shot. I don't think it was necessary and it cost us $240, but oh well. Better safe than sorry...I now start my every two weeks appointments. I am supposed to get insurance on May 1st...We will see how that goes! :)

They are so cute! The shoes are size 5 though, so it will be awhile before she's walking in them! :)

Week 28...Spent the week doing laundry, potty training the dogs, and trying to get back into a routine! :) This also started my Third Trimester!! :)

Sophie's swing! I received this in the mail from Cody's Aunt Suzanne, uncle Jeremy, Maddie and Jake! I love it! It is so pretty! And I put it together all by myself! :) So proud! haha :)

Her diaper bag (from Sam Moon!), wipe case & matching burp cloth (made by ShinyHineys), and to the right is a matching place mat for when she starts eating off tables and highchairs in restaurants (found at Hobby lobby!)!!! :) I love it all!!! :) SO cute! :)

And this is her tag blankey I made her!!! I love it! So bright and colorful! Another thing I am proud of! I can't wait for her to use it! :) 

Week 29... I received a gift from Jennifer Petkovsek today! Closet dividers, stroller hooks, and dishwasher racks! And I got Tracy and Uncle Danny's present also! A package of 3 burp cloths and an adorable pink blanket with a lady bug on it! I love it! The potty training fro the dogs is going well, but still very frustrating. I am assuming God is trying to teach me patience through this...At least I hope so, cuz otherwise I want to hurt me some puppies sometimes! Well that is all for now! Thursday starts week 30! I have a doctor's appointment Friday with Dr. Finke! I get to hear her little heartbeat again! :) I just love hearing it every time! :)

The Craziness up to Week 24! :)

I see I have missed a few weeks...In these few weeks A LOT has happened. It has been crazy! Let's see...Cody's car broke down...spent $1100 to get it fixed. I had to have a friend bring me to work for a week. It still is not fixed. It overheats in a second and shakes so bad I am afraid it's goin to blow up! So, what do we do? We buy him a jeep! There goes more money! haha :) Then...DFW decides to freeze over. I miss 4 days of work because I can't drive on the ice! The SuperBowl comes to town and was literally right down the street from me! So many stars where there! Then....Cody decides for his anniversary present he wants  lift on the jeep. So it goes in the shop. The guy gives him another jeep to drive while we are waiting on his to be finished...Our lovely apartment complex has him towed...Gotta love it! Then...I get in a car wreck! Everyone (including Sophia) is fine! Just my front drivers side bumper is gone and my insurance had to pay for the other guys drivers side door...yeah fun stuff...That morning I was driving to get my car inspected and oil changed, so I head to do that and they find that my battery is leaking. (unrelated to the wreck) It was probably from being frozen for a week. We spend more money for all of that, and I head to Beamuont. I am off to register for my baby shower!! (more about that later) THEN....I get back from Beaumont to go to work for ONE day and I get "laid off" from my job! The staffing agency calls me at 1 in the afternoon to tell me that they don't need me anymore...What?!?...So now I am jobless and have a new jeep to pay for, and a baby on the way, with no insurance yet...THEN(yeah, my bad luck streak is not over yet)...I get served papers!! I am being sued for a car wreck that happened in 2009! Apparently his back has started hurting and so he decided to hire someone to track me down in Fort Worth and serve me papers! Crazy stuff! So...needless to say, it has been stressful around here! I have applied for unemployment, and think I might actually get accepted! That will help so much! And I didn't even include my washer catching on fire and not being able to wash cloths for 2 weeks, the toilet overflowing all over the hallway, and the kitchen sink backing up for 2 days...Oh and the dogs waking us up all hours of the night barking. Yeah we bought a "play pen" for them and it has been a lifesaver! They sleep to 7am now! yay! :) I can't believe all of that happened in a months time! That is crazy!!!

But for now...I am enjoying being a stay at home wife! I have enjoyed cooking dinners, cleaning, doing projects for Sophie's room, and just resting!

I kept having cramps while at work and I think I was on my feet to much! I still get them at home, but they have significantly decreased!

Her official name is Sophia Grace Wells!

We will be calling her Sophie!

I had my next doctors appointment on February 22nd with Dr. Krombach. He was a very nice guy! I was supposed to go on Feb. 4th, but DFW closed down because of all the ice! Sophia measured normal and I have only gained 7lbs! yay! :) My next appointment in March will be my glucose testing. My mom had gestational diabetes, so I am worried I will have it to. I know this is sad, but I can't afford to have it! Not without insurance! So I am praying for the best! :) 

I finally got to register for the baby shower! I headed to Beaumont on February 11th to spend the weekend with my parents! It was so good to see them! And I got to hang out with Crissy! We worked on the Shower invitations! They are soooo cute! I enjoyed the whole weekend! :) She will have so much pink stuff! haha :)

On Feb 19th Cody finally got to see Sophia kick!

It was the coolest thing! It's crazy thinking she's really in there! haha :)

Well I think I have updated everything now! I have a lot of things written down in my Belly Book 2. I am trying to keep up with it all! Especially since I have time for it right now! :)

Week 18 :)

Yesterday (Jan 15th) I felt our Little June Bug move! :) It was a pretty awesome feeling! I could feel little flutters in my tummy! I, of course, texted everyone letting them know. :) I can't wait until Cody can feel her kicking! :)

As for my new cravings...pancakes, hotdogs, and mustard. I still haven't gotten my pancakes. :( 

I have been having a BLAST picking out everything pink! I have already bought her her first bathing suit...

Isn't it the cutest thing you have ever seen! I can't wait to see her in it! :)

I also have bought her "burp cloths". They are just the cloth diapers, but I am buying cute material to sew onto them to make them oh so cute! :)

I am heading to Beaumont in February and am going to meet up with my mom, mom-in-law, Crissy, Maggie, and maybe Lyndi so I can register there with them!

We're having a....

We went to the doctor today. I was so freagin excited! I drank about 6 sips of Cody's coffee, a cup of orange juice, and a whole bunch of water, just so she would move and we could find out the sex! As soon as I saw her little head on that screen, I started bawling like a baby! I couldn't believe it! She looked so real! It was finally true! I could finally see her! Then the lady asked if we were sure we wanted to know what it was, I said Yes please!!! She said GIRL!  I was so excited and I cried more! She has both arms, both legs, both hands, both feet, a great sized head, a great looking spine, all four chambers in her heart, and all of her organs!!! Doctor said she looked great!!! :) It was wonderful! The best day of my life, besides the day I trusted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and my wedding day of course! :) I have a little baby girl growing inside of me! It is a truly wonderful feeling! I cannot wait o meet her!

We are leaning towards the name Sophia Grace. I love it! Let's see if we change our minds. :)

So...we told my parents that they were going to be grandparents on Christmas day...I could hardly contain myself! They were so excited! Especially my dad. He is going to spoil her rotten! We gave my mom this cute lil figurine that says grandma and my dad a onsie that matched my father-in-laws. It was so cute :) 

So now everyone knows! It's all finally out there! :)

Week 14!

Friday, December 17, 2010 started my 14 week. I FINALLY have set an appointment with a doctor! It's going to cost so much since we don't have insurance, but I have got to see the doctor!

On Tuesday, Cody's parents came up for Christmas! It was great! We gave Monica a coffee mug that said Grand-tastic Grandma, and Doug a onsie that I had ironed on I ❤ and a picture of his face! He loved it and wants one just like it for himself lol. They are so excited to be grandparents. Monica keeps texting me "I'm going to be a grandma!" lol It's so sweet :)

On Monday, I found out I have a sinus infection.Not fun when your 3 1/2 months preggers. I can't stop coughing or sneezing! I saw the doctor that I work with and had to tell him I was pregnant. That led to me telling his nurse, which led to me telling the office manager, and now pretty much the whole office knows. I don't think they are going to get rid of me...yet lol. The doctor gave me amoxicillin to take and it seems to be working, just taking a long time to work. I missed Tuesday for Christmas and I called in Wednesday because I just felt so awful! Now it's the weekend and I'm trying to do nothing but rest. I took a nap yesterday and today. I'm still coughing a lot and praying that it's not hurting little Roo. My nose is raw because I have been blowing it so much! I'm just ready to be well again! I finally get my energy back and then I get sick!

The in-laws gave me my Garmin Forerunner for Christmas and I haven't even been able to use it since I've been sick! I'm excited to use it ans get started on walking a half marathon! :)

This weekend is Christmas! :) My parents are coming up Thursday and spending the whole weekend with us! I am so excited! :) It's going to be crazy with  house full f dogs though! lol. But I can't wait to finally tell them! I will be able to announce it on facebook then and all the world can know! :) Yay! :)

Last week of First Trimester!

Friday, December 3 started my 12th week and the last week of my first trimester!! I have actually started noticing a bit of a difference with my nausea and being starving all the time! I don't have to eat every 2 hours anymore and I am not nauseous 24/7! On friday I received my Fetal Heart doppler in the mail!

I got it out, put the gel on my tummy, and started moving it around...

Then...I heard it...The swoosh, swoosh, swoosh...

It was the most amazing sound I have ever heard in my entire life!

My baby's heartbeat! It was so fast! Which i know i a great thing! :)

Looks like we have a healthy baby so far! :)

Right after I recorded the heartbeat on the computer, Cody called me.

I turned it up real loud and asked if he could hear! He said is that our baby?! I said yes! So he got to hear it for the first time over the phone! :)

When he came home that night I let him actually listen to my tummy. I love hearing the swoosh swoosh swoosh! It's amazing! :)

I just wish I could get in to see a doctor. It just stinks since I work during the week now, and I haven't told my job that I'm pregnant yet...Oh and the whole money thing...

It looks like our parents will be coming to visit us for Christmas, so we will be telling them the great news then! We are giving them grandparents gifts! :) I know they will be so excited!

I told my sis-in-law yesterday. I sent her an e-mail with the heartbeat and she texted me...You knocked up? lol. I said yep! She finally gets to be an aunt! :)

So I think all of our friends know! Now we just gotta let the new grandparents know! :)

I can't wait! :)
